Our Lady of Buenos Aires

Chilean playwright Alfredo Cordal's provocative play concerns the last days of French silent film star Maria Falconetti in exile in Buenos Aires during WWII, eking out a living by giving acting classes. She wrestles with her demons, and with the power of the Church, totalitarianism, shaman-ism, fame, and the role of artist in society. A World premiere.
